Awareness Lecture at Bireh's Youth Foundation Club

Dunya Women’s Cancer Clinic has conducted an awareness lecture about breast cancer early detection in cooperation withBireh's Youth Foundation Club at Bireh's Youth Foundation Club. The attendees were 30 ladies.
At the beginning, Ms. Nida’ Qatamesh welcomed Dr. Maslamani and thanked her for coming. She also pressed emphasis on the importance of communication and cooperation between Bireh's Youth Foundation Club and Dunya’s center. Dr. Maslamani thanked Ms. Qatamesh and the attendees.
Dr. Maslamani-The Director of Dunya’s center talked about Breast Cancer, its symptoms, and the ways to detect it early. She focused on the importance of the manual self examination, in which women can detect any change in their breast and that is the first step in fighting the disease.
Dr. Maslamani has indicated that 9 out of 10 is the percentage of cure from Breast Cancer in case of early detection. She has encouraged women to be strong and get diagnosed since 80 % of the lumps are considered benign.
Dr. Maslamani stated that Dunya’s Center is a nonprofit center that runs all of the diagnostic tests for breast and gynecological tumors in affordable prices.
Dr. Maslamani has also indicated that the center does an annual breast cancer campaign where the community supports paying the costs of the diagnostic tests for the needy. At the end Dr. Maslamani stated that breast cancer can be controlled with hope and early detection. She also thanked the audience and the Bireh's Youth Foundation Club.
